MARVA HAS GREAT TASTE AND A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE. SHE CAN HANDLE EVERYTHING FROM PAINT AND GRANITE TO WINDOW COVERINGS AND FURNITURE AND WALL DECOR. SHE ALWAYS KEPT US INFORMED OF PROGRESS OR ISSUES AND LISTENED TO WHAT WE WANTED AND KEPT THE BUDGET IN MIND. VERY PROFESSIONAL. M Reynolds We were combining 2 homes of furniture and wanted to keep things from both. Additionally, we needed help arranging several rooms, needed furniture recovered, floral arrangements done and overall transform our new home - utilizing for the most part what we already had. This was a fantastic experience. Marva Williams - Owner is amazing!!! She came to the house to assess what we wanted...came in a few days later and spent 8 hours the first day and 5 hours the second day arranging things! We were amazed! We thought she would give us some ideas and pointers...NO! She got the ladder, hammer, nails etc. and got to work! It was so much fun! She went "shopping" in our home. She asked questions about pieces that were important to us and what the story was behind the pieces. Marva turned our house into a home using our favorite things! It looks fantastic! The only hiccup we had was a couple of the chairs that were recovered weren't quite right - we called Marva - she immediately picked up the cushions and had them redone...now perfect! Marva works with some amazing vendors - she wanted to have a floral arrangement made for our study to reflect the importance of Hawaii in our lives - the arrangement is magnificent and really quite inexpensive! Wonderful Surprise. We will continue to use Designing Women of the Carolinas should the need arise in the future and whole heartedly recommend this wonderful company!! Thank you Marva for your help! C Frank Marva created the design for my great room, foyer, dining room, and kitchen. The design she presented was "spot on" with what I had envisioned. She coordinated the ordering of the fabric, the sewing of the window treatments, the hanging of the treatments and the installation of the furniture. It was such a pleasure working with Marva. She listened to me as I described my style and my ideas. When she brought back her proposal, the fabric selections and the furniture styles were just perfect! She was attentive, responsive, and paid attention to every detail. I would call upon Marva again for future design needs. C Whitley
