"Marva was just marvelous!  Living up North made it near impossible for
us to furnish and decorate our new summer home in Myrtle Beach.  We had no idea where to turn.  Luckily, we found Marva and the results were better than our highest expectations.  We couldn't be happier with the selection of furniture, appliances and finishing touches.  I would recommend anyone to go to Designing Women of the Carolina's for all of their home decorating needs."

"Marva was great to work with.  She asked good questions, listened to what we wanted our condominium to look like and then selected everything to fit what we wanted.  We absolutely loved the finished product and we have recommended Marva to others.  She is the best."

"Being introduced to Denise Trundy by our builder was probably one of the best things that happened to us while building our new home in River Hills. I was very skeptical about using an Interior Designer because quite frankly I did not feel we could afford these services. I soon found out Denise was very willing to work within our budget and that her services were invaluable. Denise assisted us with wall color selection, fabric and furniture selection, and accessorized our entire home. The results transformed our home into an absolute showcase that is warm and comfortable as it is beautiful. I am especially pleased with the work done by their custom upholsterer. His work is phenomenal. I have often told my husband that if we were to move out of the Myrtle Beach area we would have to fly Denise wherever we move so that she could decorate our home."

We’d like to share our absolute delight in working with Denise Trundy as our interior designer.  The thing we admired most about working with Denise is that even though we hired her for her expertise in a variety of styles and approaches, she never forgot to balance her own tastes with our taste—and she always put our tastes first. This skill is probably frustrating for many in the interior design profession but for Denise it is second nature.

To tell you a little of our story . . . we purchased a lot in North Myrtle Beach and selected a builder, then our home sold very quickly in Silver Spring, Maryland.  We moved into an apartment in Little River and spent some time looking at model homes in the area while our home was being built.  It seemed every time we walked into a model home designed by Denise Trundy we felt very comfortable and “at home.”  So we called her and we’re so glad we did.

At our previous home we had done a major remodel (actually gutting the entire 2 story Tudor style home) and it took over a year to furnish it by ourselves.  We both agreed we did not want to go through that process again, UGH!!!, if you’ve ever done that you know what I mean.

We also thought using an interior designer would be terribly expensive and worried that if we used one they would want to decorate our home the way they wanted and frankly we did not want that.  Interior designers should work closely with clients and believe us Denise really listened to our needs and perfectly selected those items that best suited us and our new home. We wanted a home that was “coastal” without being beach “tacky.”

We found that as an interior designer Denise had an excellent eye for exactly the color, fabric, and furniture we were looking for.  She worked at staying within our budget and communicated with us every step of the way.  She was great at juggling all the needed tasks to bring our decorating job in on time when the house was ready; she oversaw the ordering, delivery and installation of all objects for our new home.  She is truly excellent at what she does and if we ever move again she will be the first person we call.
