Denise Trundy Biography

Denise Trundy has over 18 years experience in the interior design field. Originally starting in the metropolitan area of Washington D.C., she was employed with a commercial design firm that specialized in corporate offices.

In the early 1990's, Denise relocated to North Myrtle Beach area, where her family has owned property in the Cherry Grove section since the 1970's. Denise became a top salesperson for a local furniture company and specialized in residential, second home, and investment properties. She started her own firm, Designs by Denise in 2001, and assisted clients with their personal homes traveling to Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Delaware as well as clients in the Carolinas with their decorating needs. Denise and Marva Williams met in 1994 and have enjoyed many years of friendship and various aspects of the design field.

Designing Women of the Carolinas, LLC was officially formed in January 2006.

Marva Williams Biography

Marva Williams is a native of North Myrtle Beach with family ties to the Ocean Drive area since the early 1950's. A graduate from Winthrop University School of Interior Design, Marva returned to the area after graduation and started her design career which has spanned over 16 years.

Marva spent 4 ½ years as a sales manager for an area furniture store and oversaw 6 designers. In 1998, Marva received her real estate license where she specialized in residential, second home, and investment properties. After the birth of her daughter, Marva returned full-time to interior design forming Marva Bell Williams Interior Design Inc. in 2003.

Marva has assisted local homeowners as well as many out of state vacation and investment property owners with new properties as well as refurbishment. Marva and Denise Trundy, after previous years of working together, formed Designing Women of the Carolinas, LLC in early 2006, thereby offering their clients the benefit of having two capable and experienced designers assist them.
